2) Information we collect

A) Information you provide directly

When you create an account or use booking features, we may collect:

• Email address
• Password (handled by our authentication provider; we do not store plaintext passwords)

• Full name
• Phone number
• Optional profile details you may choose to provide (for example: language preference and other profile settings)

• Selected service and booking schedule (date/time)
• Service address text you enter
• Vehicle information you provide for the booking (for example: vehicle type and optional details like make/model/year/color/license plate if you enter them)
• Special instructions/notes you provide (optional)

B) Location information (foreground only, with permission)

If you grant the Android location permission, the App may collect your precise location while the App is in use (foreground) to:

• show or recenter the map,
• help you pick a service location (current location or map pin),
• convert map coordinates to a readable address (reverse geocoding).

We do not collect background location and do not track your location when the App is closed or not in use.

C) Payments (records only; no full card numbers stored)

The App records payment-related information needed for booking management and status tracking, such as:

• payment method selected (e.g., cash / card / mobile / wallet)
• amount
• payment status (e.g., pending/completed/failed)

We do not store full credit card numbers in the App or our database. Payment credentials (such as full card numbers) are handled externally. The App stores only payment records/status information required to operate the booking workflow.

D) Photos (only if you choose to upload)

If you choose to add or update a profile photo, the App can upload your selected image to our storage provider and store its URL for display in your profile.

E) Technical and security information

To operate reliably and securely, the App and our backend may process limited technical data such as:

• authentication session information (to keep you signed in),
• basic logs related to errors and service reliability.

We aim to keep this minimal and used for security and troubleshooting.

3) How we use your information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide core App functionality – create and manage your account, sign you in and maintain your session, create and manage bookings.
• Provide location and map features (foreground only) – display maps, allow you to select a service location, convert coordinates into a readable address.
• Manage payments (records) – create and update payment records tied to bookings, track payment method and status for operational purposes.
• Improve reliability and security – prevent abuse and fraud, debug issues, maintain service availability, and protect user accounts.

4) Data sharing (who we share with and why)

We do not sell your personal information.

We share data only as necessary to operate the App, including with these third-party service providers:

A) Supabase (authentication, database, storage)

We use Supabase to:

• authenticate users (account creation, sign-in),
• store App data (profiles, bookings, payment records),
• store uploaded profile images (storage).

B) Google Maps SDK (map display)

We use the Google Maps SDK to display maps inside the App. When you use map features, Google may process certain data as part of providing the map service (for example, device and network information, and location data if you enable location). This processing is governed by Google's policies.

C) OpenStreetMap Nominatim (reverse geocoding)

When you select a location (e.g., from a map pin), the App may call OpenStreetMap Nominatim to convert coordinates into a human-readable address ("reverse geocoding"). This request includes the coordinates needed to perform the lookup.

D) Legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

• comply with applicable law or lawful requests,
• enforce our Terms,
• protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or Naqiago.

5) Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• Booking and payment records may be retained for operational, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, and legal compliance purposes.
• Profile photos remain stored unless you change/remove them or request deletion.

If you request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize your data unless we need to keep certain records to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

6) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7) Your rights (access, correction, deletion)

You may request to:

• Access the personal data we have about you,
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data,
• Delete your account and associated personal data (subject to retention requirements in Section 5).

To make a request, contact us at contact@naqiago.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.

8) Location permission control (foreground only)

You can control location access at any time:

On Android: Settings → Apps → Naqiago → Permissions → Location

If you disable location permission, the App can still be used, but location-based features may not work as intended.

We do not request or use background location access.

9) Children's privacy

Naqiago is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact contact@naqiago.com and we will take steps to delete it.

10) International data transfers

Our service providers (including Supabase, Google, and OpenStreetMap Nominatim) may process data on servers located in different countries. As a result, your information may be transferred and processed internationally.

We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protections are in place consistent with this policy.

11) Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update it, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top and publish the updated version on our Website and/or within the App where appropriate.
